Maxwells Restaurant

Carmels Bar & Grill

Carmels Bar & Grill offers a Modern Australian menu thoughtfully paired with wines from the region. The restaurant sits on the main street through McLaren Vale, so it’s a convenient place to stop and recharge. The dining room is warm and inviting, with concertina doors that fold right back in pleasant weather, turning the restaurant into a big verandah.

Bracegirdles

Bracegirdles at 190 café continues to showcase the delicious savoury menu for which it was renowned. In addition now has a dessert menu plus expertly made coffee, famous hot chocolate and of course their award winning hand made chocolates. It has the same warm cosy feel as the other two venues plus a large alfresco area and undercover courtyard.

d’Arrys Verandah

d’Arry’s Verandah is housed in a restored 19th century homestead, with spectacular views of rolling hills and vineyards. d’Arry’s showcases the best of local and seasonal produce, the food experience complimented by the extensive and world renowned d’Arenberg wine portfolio.

Oscars is located in the heart of McLaren Vale and prides itself on offering a relaxed dining experience while serving delicious and fresh food, accompanied with our local wines, beers and ciders. ?Oscars offers an extensive Mediterranean style menu that caters for each individual.

Woodstock

The WOODSTOCK kitchen brings a food philosophy of honest, seasonal and skillful dishes, showcasing the best locally and ethically sourced ingredients and attentive execution. Their fare, contemporary Australian cuisine showcasing some of the best seasonal produce this region has to offer. Fresh herbs and vegetables come from their own little garden.

Victory Hotel

The Victory Hotel allows you to enjoy both the beautiful greenery of their vineyard and the stunning Sellicks Beach nearby.

They strive to use as much local seasonal produce as they can, and their menus change with the seasons to accommodate this availability of produce.

Star of Greece

Charming 1950’s kiosk perched on a cliff with magnificent views of the sea and the coastline of Port Willunga, all within a ten minute drive from the McLaren Vale wineries. Great food with emphasis on seafood and this is where you will probably get the best calamari ever, caught by the local fisherman on the beach below.

Penny’s Hill

Lunch overlooking green pastures with animals grazing, will beckon you back to The Kitchen Door, at Penny’s Hill Winery. This nationally acclaimed McLaren Vale restaurant shows the way with surrounding seasonal produce. The menu embraces the seasonality of local produce from our region and changes every eight weeks or so.

Vasarelli’s Restaurant

Housed in the middle of McLaren Vale this family owned restaurant is well placed to not only offer customers a fantastic selection of wine but also a complimenting menu. With authentic Italian pasta recipes, along with antipasto platters, fresh seafood and meat on the menu.

Salopian Inn

The Salopian Inn, McLaren has an exceptional local and international wine cellar, and offers contemporary Australian cuisine with a regional, seasonal focus. The menu spans from Asian-inspired lemongrass calamari, to roast lamb rump with spring peas and goats fetta dressing.

Russell’s Pizza

The uniqueness of Russell’s Pizza is unquestionable. Firstly, everything on the menu is sourced locally and cooked in the pizza oven. Secondly, they are only open two days a week. Set menu includes homemade bread with dukkah and olive oil, salad and vegetable appetiser – with the best roasted almonds I’ve ever tasted – lamb meatballs and as much pizza as you like followed by dessert.

Pizzateca is an Italian family run restaurant in the South Australian wine region of McLaren Vale.

Specialising in Abrussezze cuisine and Neapolitan Wood fired pizza.

Vera Pizza, Arrosticini cooked over charcoal and seasonal produce prepared from recipes past down from one generation to the next.
