Since opening in December, visitors are lining up to see the d’Arenberg Cube, an extraordinary building in McLaren Vale, which houses the winery’s cellar door, a restaurant, private tasting areas, and an immersive art gallery.
Located on the top level of the five storey building, d’Arenberg’s cellar door has panoramic views over McLaren Vale, and offers complimentary wine tastings, or you can upgrade to a premium tasting flight.
Book in for a hosted masterclass or the Blending Bench, where you play winemaker for the day, blending your own wine. Located on the third floor is the restaurant, offering degustation dining with an extensive wine list. A regional highlight, d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant is housed in the original 19th century homestead on the d’Arenberg property, right next to Polly’s, a relaxed café where you can personalise your own charcuterie platter.
Embark on a self-guided tour of the Alternate Realities Museum, located on the ground floor, with d’Arenberg’s free smartphone application.
Open daily from 10am to 5pm, advance bookings are recommended.
